IT racers and IT rentals in Kentucky/Ohio?

All,

Hi. I'll be moving from SC to Lexington, KY next week and I'm trying to find out how active the road racing folks are in that area.

On top of that (though I fear that time may quickly be running out on me this year), I'm looking forward to racing in that region at least a couple times next year. I did the 3-day Panoz school last September but circumstances have conspired against me as far as racing this year...next year looks much better. :-)

IT racing has always interested me and I wondered if A) there is a good community of IT folks up there and are there any rental outfits in the area?

Any help/advice would be appreciated...thanks folks.

There are a couple of road racers in and around Lexington. Check out SR Racing in Lexington. My son races FV with them. Wes Allen runs a Club Ford out of Lexington. I run a Spec Miata and Jon Ricker runs an A Sedan Mustang along with a ITB Escort and we are located in Danville Ky. Most everyone here helps each other out because there are not that many of us.
