I'll be there, But I will be watching all of the fun from the starters stand as my car is still in pieces. So be in line and behave, and you will get the green!

    Sounds good.

Michigan is in the EST zone, right? Hooray for not having to work on Monday so getting home around 1am won't suck so bad.

Yes, MI is on the same time as us, it is not until you get to the land of Hoosier that times get confusing. And that is all going to change when they 'conform' to social/economic standards.

Looks like they are going to do it next year now instead of later this year.

The weather forecast is looking pretty crappy. Damn, it looks like I'm going to be needing those new rain tires earlier than I hoped.

Just fired up the RX-7 after installing the 2nd oil cooler - and it's cracked. If I can get a replacement by Thursday I'll be golden.

Well, I must be an idiot. The second cooler also leaked a steady stream, cracked in the same spot. Either I'm the unluckiest guy in the world or I tightened both of them to too much.

I don't think any junkyards in town have one, and tomorrow I go to the track. If anybody coming to Grattan has a spare 2nd gen cooler they can spare, I'd sure appreciate it. Otherwise it's likely to be a "hot" weekend.

    Thanks,

Lucky for you it won't be real warm this weekend. Here's the forecast as of now:

Saturday - AM Showers, 64/45, 30% chance of precip
    Sunday - Isolated T-Storms, 65/45, 30% chance of precip

That's actually a lot better than the forecast was a couple of days ago. Does anyone else feel like we're going to be spending a lot of time looking at the sky this weekend? I hate that - sitting in the paddock with two rain tires on and two dry tires on.

Hopefully I can get off work early today (which is looking promising) and get on the road by about 3-4pm. That puts me in there around 11pm or so.

The cooler is working great. Good temps all day and no leaks.

Great weather today. Partly cloudy, 65, with a moderate wind.

Kevin cleaned up in ITA and his dad took ITC in a heated battle. I struggled mightily with old tires - very loose the whole race with two "offs" including a spin. Tomorrow the "stickies" (fresh Hoosiers) go back on.

You guys are having too much fun. Keep it up!

(I'm paying attention because I went to high school in Grand Rapids.)

Marty, who all is there runing ITS and what were the results? I know that more of us from Waterford Hills planned on being there but couldn't make it due to other (domestic) obligations. Look forward to Labor Day though. Thanks
