Any body got the IT results from March 20-21, 2004 race? They are not posted on the MidSouth web site.

Hey Festus, if you would come up here and race you could get your very own hard copy! We'll post the full results ASAP. BTW check my time on Sun. :-)

    bldn10,

You are so right. Car should be ready by May event at Memphis. Maybe sooner. I am waiting for my license from SCCA National Office. Got my GCR but license hasn't come in yet. Finally got a parts car and my son and I worked on it last weekend. I will be running in IT7 this year. Wish I could have been there. My times are usually in the low 1:22's with old tires.

    Hope to see y'all soon!

    Drive well.

Festus... I thought you were going to make it up to Gateway this weekend?

Holy crap!!!!!! No ITA cars??? That is really hard to believe as it is one of the most paticipated classes up here in the northeast. Does that happen very often in your area??? Just curious.

Actually, I was just as surprised as I typed the results. It is NOT the norm. On the other hand, look at all the C cars; that is a switch.

    Speed Raycer,

Looks like I may be in St. Louis for the May race. That is now my goal. Still waiting for my license to come from National.

    Drive well.

Memphis was light on ITA cars all last season. The most I recall was 3. I was the only ITA car at the Double Points Event last November.

Festus, It looks like I'll have to work to keep you in sight.

    JJ,

Nope. I will not race again till May. I plan on making all three races that month. Our buddy Nick has my car over at his shop to put in the tri-link.

He's getting a jump on you in ITC.

Mid-Div has been light on ITA cars for a few years now.4-5 cars tops per event, with the new IT7 class in there it will get worse.I have left ITA for the Spec Miata class, with all of that said good luck.Except for a few Honda's and MR-2's it will be pretty slim.
If I missed anyone I am sorry.

All results except Group 1 had been posted on the Mid-South Region website at midsouthscca.com. However, Lesley's summary is easier to read. (We just got a new printer/copier so they will be clearer in the future.)

May 29-30 Regional/National/IT Tour FREE Spectator Event at Memphis Motorsports Park -invite your friends and family. We need a good turnout of cars and fans to show the local media that there is interest in road racing so pass the word.
