Aren't "ARRC" and "American Road Racing Championship" both copyrighted?

This Organization acronym is ARRA, not ARRC, and according to my attorney, the American Road Racing Championship is not copyrighted. If he is wrong than I need a NEW ATTORNEY.

Thank you, and wish all is well.
