    Default Looking for CMP videos

My son will be doing the Turn 1 Motorsports driving school at Kershaw this weekend in a 'lightly modified' RX7. We've been to the track, but never ran on it. I'm looking for any in-car video that may be helpful for familiarization.

    Thanks!

    Go to: http://www.specmiatavideos.com/race_videos.htm
It has a vast collection of all the tracks in the southeast and a few across the country.

Not great quality but might be useful for this weekend (rain video) 2002 wet laps. TeamSSR, you were the guy building the ITS 944 right? Come by and say hello, look for the red enclosed trailer and CRX.

Doh! looks like Rob probably pointed you in a much more helpful direction.

Yes, we're building the ITS 944. It's been stripped, rollcage installed, and painted. We are now in the "putting it back together" phase. Our goal is to do a few driving events or schools with it, then for "the boy" to get his SCCA license at one of the schools this fall (probably VIR or CMP).

    Thanks for everyone's help!

Actually, it was an improvement Steve. Still got work to do and hopefully this weekend will give us a lot of data. Glad to be back man. See you guys at Kershaw in August??

Team, that's great the car is progressing. If you are looking for a LSD for it, hit up seckerich here. His diff has been in my 944S for about a year now (street car) and I love it (and I run it in my racecar too).

    Thanks for the LSD tip.
I have a street 944S too... I'm currently building the motor for it. I may run it PCA in the future, I have a bolt-in cage for it.

Holy Crap! Adam! Good to see your back on the track. What are you running? See you at Road A in a week maybe?

Hey Rob! Its "v2" or I guess this past weekend, it was more like "v2 beta candidate" and maybe more like alpha on Saturday w/ my one lap on battery power qualifying Yes indeed, Harry (Puckett) and I are running the ECR at Road Atlanta and I think we are both pretty excited about it. Lets hope we are still excited about it after test day LOL

    A few pics:
    cage pics
cleaned up and ready for duty

Come by and check out the car if you have a chance on Saturday, we should be down w/ the Muresans and Cottrells.

It was good to meet you guys on Saturday and thanks for the compliment. I hope you two stuck around for the rain session on Sunday (Kershaw is so fun in the rain).

Good luck on getting the 44 ready, I'll look forward to seeing more in ITS. (subliminal message) build the 944S, build the 944S
