John Burns passes

A good man passes away. If anyone does not recall the incident with John, he is the man who in the 1990s was hit by the Porsche at Road Atlanta and fought back to survive a horrible incident.

I met John one time and found him to be a neat guy and a true gentleman.

Thanks for posting that Bob, I had heard about his passing last week. I met him several times and worked on the start stand with him at HSR events. He was a great guy, very funny all the time. He was definately one of the "originals" you meet in this sport. Very sad to see him pass.
