Avoid the Knights Inn. Stayed there one night several years ago - the room had wet carpet.

Also avoid one that I think is called Country Hearth. Similar problem - strong mildew smell. I've had good luck at Days Inn, but haven't been there in a few years.

I always have good success with the Jamison Inns. Clean, new and good breakfast.

I have stayed at the Days Inn a couple of times in the past 2 years, never had a problem there.

Avoid: Day's Inn Airport, Comfort Inn

    I prefer the Microtel myself.

What about Econolodge, just west of I-95? It's been a few years since I stayed, but never had a problem.
