    Greg
So far the only one i have seen is from a motorcycle viewpoint on www.wera.com.
Looks like a fun track. Cycle racing continues to look really dangerous.
    Hope that helps.

Go to the Barber site, www.barbermotorsports.com and you can view a video taken during a Porsche event. I would suggest looking at it at least 10 times if you haven't been to the track. See ya'll there,

Chuck, maybe I'm website challenged but I can't find that link on the www.barbermotorsports.com website. In any event, looking forward to driving at a track that I have heard so many good things about.

Ok,Dave, I found it, but it is burried Actually go to www.porschedriving.com and click on "the experience" and then "the track" then "turn a lap". Tighten your belts and enjoy.

I just came back from the PCA - Barber event....take your first lap 'slow', espically at the corkscrew. We had 19 off track incidents by noon. Very technical, lot's of blind turns....but then it's one of the most technically fun tracks I've driven....I'll talk you thru the track if your intrested.
    good luck...have fun

The SCCA at Barber Motorsports Park only has 20 slots left for entries as the cutoff will have to be 300. We hope all that want to attend have made arrangments. If you have questions, I may be reached on our toll free number 888-525-7222.

For those who have not been to Barber before it would be good to heed the advice of taking it slow "enough" to learn the track first (hopefully at the test n tune). At the last PCA race as a prior poster stated they had nothing but carnage the first day during their "practice" day. Three hours of track time and the rest was clean up. 30 bags of oil dry, several pieces of expensive FIA approved guardrail and even a section of tire wall. The bill sent to PCA by the track was over $20,000 for damage and needless to say they are looking to the drivers who tore up the place to pay for it. But then you guys know better than that don't you. The place has a lot of runoff anyway.

So what did you think of the track....was it as technical as we made it to be? It's definately a blast!

What's the passing situation? The track looks a little narrow (more suitable for motorcycles).

Doug, it's actually incredibly wide. Much wider than CMP, and significantly wider than VIR.

It narrows down into a funnel in a couple of places, like all tracks, near apexes. But the straights and some corners are very wide.

Most passing is done up off the corner or under braking, again like most other places, and there is plenty of room to do it.

I liked most everything about the track except for the paved paddock (too hot) and the tow (Birmingham is TOO FAR...lol).

    My Favorites are:
    turn 1 on the inside
turn 5 - watch the gravel pit if u screw up
turn 7 - if you come out of the hairpin good
the kink at 9 - if u get pushed - u'r in the armco
14/14-A if the car in front does not protect the corner
