Nick did a 2:14.1 NEW TRACK RECORD! In the race Sunday.

Everybody was flying this weekend. Track records fell in many classes ITS, ITB, ITA I didn't look at ITC.

    ITS 2:14.1 Nick Leverone, RX7
    ITA 2:19.5 Tom Blaney, CRX
    ITB 2:24.4 Greg Subtelney, Volvo
    ITC ??

Track had some nice improvements for the upcoming IndyCar race.

    ## Corrected Tom's ITA record ## Congrats!

Just to make it official, I set the track record in ITA 2.19.5, the scorekeeper acknowledged the mistake and it will be posted correctly. But it was a good race

I heard that someone lost $50 on a bet, because of a Miata. Is it true? Tom. dave

Yea, but Pete gave me a $2 discount because it finished under yellow and I set the track record ... what a guy !! I thought about the $50 while we were circulating to the yellow checker. One more lap under gree was all I needed. But I did lead all the laps except for the one that counted ....

Tom and all, I had a great time and enjoyed running with all of you guys. Some of the closest and cleanest racing around.

I enjoyed it as well...some of the bluest guardrails around.

At least I knocked a full 2sec off my times from last year...that goes great with the 2ft I knocked off the front of my car.

But on a lighter note, it was a pleasure racing with some top-notch drivers and top-notch people this weekend. I'm tempted to come back up for the Sept. event.

Thanks again for the brake rotors Gregg. You have exhibited great sportsmanship and patience in spite of all of your tribulations this year. You were on your way to the front. Sorry it did'nt work out for you.
