Default EMRA at BeaveRun, June 4-5

With the success and popularity of last season's inaugural event at the regions newest facility, it was no surprise that BeaveRun has retained its place on the EMRA Schedule. The June 4th, 5th weekend will play host to two days of Sprints, an one(1) hour Enduro and a Time Trial. The challenging 1.6 mile North Circuit has the feel of Summit Point with a touch of Bridgehampton built-in (for the nostalgia buffs).

    "The feel of Summit Point"
Does that mean that Beaverun can/does have:
    1. All four seasons in one day?
    2. Cows that visit the track whilst the boys are racing?
    3. Awesome chilli and soup?
    4. Weird people that always seem to be there and have beer and jello shots.
    5. A four hour night race held under the most insane conditions driven by people of questionable character and/or upbringing?

Looking forward to the Twinight Enduro @ Summit Point in November!

    cheers

    Dave -

You say this like it's a bad thing!

See you at Summit, and yes, Jell-O ("Shot! Shot! Why, I think I will") will be available to the cognoscenti...

    WB
A person of questionable character and upbringing, and damn proud of it! I mean, why else would any of us go racing?

It is absolutely NOT a bad thing. It is one of the many aspects of running with EMRA that i enjoy.
I also enjoy Summit Point greatly, but i think most everyone has that figured out.

I've not run an EMRA event. How many cars do you usually get? What other cars are in the class an ITS car woud be in? and what kind of entry fees are we talking about?

As the track is only 10 minutes away from me, I have no excuse not to attend!

Obviously, we can't predict exactly the size of upcoming events, but a reasonable way to view the size of EMRAs entrants fields is to look at our "Results" page from previous years.

We always hope for an increased number of entrants, but in '04 at BeaveRun, we had over 80 entrants between Time Trial, Sprint Race and Enduro. Some of those folks (like me) entered more than one event at BeaveRun, so there's some overlap, but it'll give you an idea.

For what it's worth, BeaveRun is a long drive for me, but I wouldn't miss it....it's a great track.

The EMRA "Results" page (which also lists laps times for entrants) can be viewed here:
