Awesome video - nice clean duel with the Miata and a great setup for the pass.

    Cheers,

I really need to get a multiplexer and put a small box with rear view footage. It would help explain some of the lines taken with Jake F. right on my butt and then some.

He didn't think I'd pass on the inside of 4. I tried to give as much room as I could.

Pity the guy who bought that car...I have video of it airborne...and YAWING at NHIS.

I was sure his vector would find my door upon contact with terra firma.

What kind of dampers do you guys use?

It looks like Brian wasn't the only one who took that short cut. If you look as he re-enters the track there is another set of tracks leading back onto the pavement at almost the same place Brian does. That or Brian was just trying a new line each time through and thought that was the best.

Doug do you have the video from the 01 Cheap date where I spun in front of just about the entire field at 3, Brian had some good video of me facing the wrong way. And yes this time Jeremy it was me who was driving.

Hey I went off there as well! I should try to find my video! It was my first year at POCONO.... my brother raced the day before and he told me turn 1 was very very fast in 4th. so I followed him for 2 laps bored cause he is so slow then passed on the front straight. went into turn 1 this time at some speed and went off the track still in 4th gear!! it was very exciting indeed! I to got very airborne! so airborne that when I landed it sent the strut and camber plate up through the hood! I was certainly depressed... drove 10hrs to do 3 laps and I honestly thought my car was totaled since all I could see was a hood bent up in the air. However I got it back to the pits and with Bob (smarty) behind the welder he fixed me up in time to race! Had to start from last but boy did I have fun!

I have some video that proves you can't take that line anymore. There is a fence in the way. It just pops up from nowhere!

    Thanks for ruining it Brian.

Now that has me going! Not as an excuse, just a clarification... didn't run out of gas. Car was overheating and started sputtering at turn 3. But boy, I do suck in the oval. ;-)
