    Thanks Doug,
Any idea when there might be an NESCCA Enduro series schedule? Or who to ask?

Also, if you click the NER.org in your sig, you get a 403...the www. needs to be added.

    Thanks again,

    Eric

Eric, a "403-Forbidden" means something on your end is blocking it (firewall, filters, spyware, etc). His sig works fine for me...<shrug>.

it's because he doesn't have www. in front of it. not all browser's resolve that. I got the same 403 error message and I know it's not firewall, etc. It's the browser. If you type in www.ner.org it works just fine.

    From the NESCCA Enduro Page:

    -------------

Plans for the 2005 series are underway with definite dates at:

Nelson Ledges (July 23-24 and October 30),
    New Hampshire (August 27), and
    Watkins Glen (October 15).

Series officials are hoping to add more events to this schedule and urge competitors to contact their regions and let them know of their interest.

    ----------

Let's drum up some more interest for these races. It is the best seat time for the $$$. Talk to the people in your regions about adding more races to the '05 Schedule.

Thanks for the info on test dates! Good to know. It's not up on NHIS's calendar yet so this is good for planning.

I agree. I did the NHIS enduro and the Watkins Glen enduro's last season and they were both such a blast. I'm glad the NER region is looking to make the NHIS enduro a 6 hour eventually and I'm looking forward to the 4 hour event there this year. It would be great to do the same with the Glen. A six hour event there would be perfect on that track! Any interest in that? Anyway to get the ball rolling to get that there in a few years? I'd be interested in helping to get that done but don't know where to start.

I could not find info about NHIS open track days on the NER site.
But, if you go to the NHIS site and look at the calendar posted in the upper right, it will tell you what is happening each day that you click on. And you can advance to other months.tedious, but I got what I needed to know.

Last year a half day (usually 4-5 20 minute sessions) cost $125.

IIRC, at one time, for the full SCCA only days, you could either do a first half, second half, or both. I don't know if the rates or policy changed as that was a few years ago. My grasp of time isn't all that great and I cannot tell you what year that was. That's why, even when I work at the races, I have 3 or 4 timers running.

And, also, I think the policy is still $5 to get in, no matter what. So, I guess it is really $130 plus $5 per crew.

I know everybody seems to have some insurance increases this year, so I would expect the rate to go up slightly, but not drastically.
