Can we safely assume the cars won't be painted for the event?

Gotta love the dedication. BTW: there is a nice looking Audi like yours in Marlboro near our shop that hasn't moved in 2 years...want me to inquire?

OK where are all the NE guys/gals??? Working on the cars??? No posts with updates??? 2 days!!!

    Jeff-

I tried to get a digital with the paper and the date.. It didn't come out The cars don't look much different than when those pictures were taken (2 days ago) but I have been working each night re-wiring my car after the eletrical fire at the Glen last year that took out all the wiring... Man this re wiring stuff is a lot of work to do right. Anyway it is coming along hopefully this weekend we will have made much better visual progress. We are much like the old Dave Patten and the car will get finished at the track the day of the race!!! LOL

    Andy-

Stephens car wont be painted (it will be primer) and we will likely get in trouble at tech and he will have to paint it for the next race (last year I got in trouble).
My car on the other hand, had very little body damage last year (believe it or not!!!) so no body work is getting done on that one for the first race.

Hope everyone is gearing up!!! This year should be lots of fun, with IT continuing to grow in numbers and level of competition.

Getting ready for the first race hasn't changed in so long. I got a kick out of all the comments and pictures. It looks like such a great group you all have. I'm looking forward to spectating this year and watching you all.
Good luck to all the teams.

    Diane,

Driveable or raceable? Thought you had some engine issues? Did you get those fixed?

Driveable. Still needs a rear main seal.

Still, it was closer than the Blethens.
