GLEN/Adirondack race Audust 14-15, 2004

Is this a circle track race??? I was looking at the NESCCA website schedule and saw this event listed in the Regional column. Here is the website I found for a NY track named Adirondack speedway http://www.adirondackspeedway.com/

I remember SCCA trying a circle track race a while back in NJ (?). We were their and I don't think the event went very well (feedback was that it was unenjoyable to just turn left)...

Any info on this event?

No, it is not a Circle race. Last year (it was cancelled) it was going to use the Ovals within the oval at the facility to form a big "C" or really a figure *8* without the crossover.

The owner is actually trying to build a separate proper road course.

It's a short road course within an oval. Was on the sked in 2003, but some construction work didn't get done in time and it was cancelled. Another try in 2004. Hopefully, all the black-flies will be dead by then.

Interesting... I would think track rental is lower??? I probably wont race, but will be interested to see how the event goes. Those involved keep us updated.
