Default 2004 Annual Tech In CT

I know, I know. We just finished the 2003 racing year and I'm already looking at 2004? I haven't had my car sitting for a week yet, but am already thinking of next year. So I'm addicted, what can I say?

I also know how long it can take to organize something like this and want to get an early start. Last year we got very lucky and had Brian Jones tech a few of us locally.

Last year there were a few people that were offering to use their place / shop for the annual tech. Is there any interest in organizing a tech this year in CT? It really doesn't matter when - Jan., Feb., early March...just as long as it is scheduled. So, what do you think?

I'm all for it! There was someone who volunteered a place in the past, I'll email him to pop his head in here if he's still interested.

If we can't get one here, Yankee Candle would be great again. Last year we had so little notice and the one we knew about in advance was too far away.

Dick ITA15 will probably chime in here with real info, but I have been in meetings where the spring 2004 tech sessions were discussed. As I recall, there were several options and it looked as though there would be 2 or 3 tech sessions at different points in NE. They were aware of the late notice issue, but I think it was unavoidable.

Most everyone is at the NEDIV convention in Rocky Hill,CT but I can tell you 3 annual techs are planned. They are 2,4 and 6 weeks before our first event which is April 16-18 weekend. There are plans for one of these to be in CT, however, I think Brian had not yet heard from the people who offered last year.
