We're in. Thurs test and Sat sprints. That's providing that we survive the Busch next week and the EMRA TT the end of the month of course. I will contact you for some details. Anyone else looking for some adventure?

I am heading down early to go to SpeedSource for a bit and then will be at the track for the Thursday test day. I would love to paddock together especially with someone who has been there before. Are there garages?

Nick there are no garages at the Road Atlanta facility except those used by the Panoz school. You'll be on asphalt.

Here is a link to a Flash animation that shows you a 360 degree panorama from the paddock when Brian went to the ARRC in 2000

We're in. Still debating the schedule, but we're probably leaving central CT either Tuesday morning or early evening to make the Thursday test and Saturday sprints. We're probably starting out for home Saturday afternoon after our sprint and will grab a hotel room that night wherever we decide to stop.

Everyone keep in touch and send contact and route info; if anyone has highway problems we can help rescue you (uh, me). For our course we'll probably take I-84 to I-81 to I-77 to I-85 versus the typical I-95/I-85 route. It adds less than 50 miles to the trip and avoids NYC, the Jersey turnpike, Philly, DC, and the whole I-95 corridor with associated loops. All it will take is one traffic jam in Jersey and that 42 or so extra miles (what, 30 minutes while towing? <grin> ) will seem like cake.

    Anthony,
Paddocking together is not easy. The Paddock Nazis can be tough at times, they save spots for the big rigs and open trailers have to be parked down on the lower forty on the grass.

We don't need to steenkin' asphalt <grin>. What, are we some pretty boys that don't like to get dirty? Just push us together someplace in the grass, we'll shuffle together our canopies and beer coolers and make a real good time of it.

    Can't wait. Love that track.

Can't be any worse than playing in the mud in paddock B at the rock! Looking forward to hanging out with my fellow NE drivers, and hopefully making new friends down there.

Greg, we will be more than happy to give you a reserved space in the back forty for as many of you wishing to do so, it can be a camping area also, no charge camping. Any size rigs also, and keep your trailers there too , that is if you are serious, if not we will park rigs as per size as usual. THE NATSI :P <grin> E-Mail if you have any request(that is within reason<grin> )[email protected], Thanks, Fletcher & Sandy
