Curious as to why the Spec Miata's were moved to back of Grid for Sunday's race. I least the weather dried up for the Sunday PM races. Now have 23 laps on Dry tires this year I lost track of how many on rains. T Weaver Truck Driver ITA 63

A bunch of Spec Miatas got bumped on Saturday after qualifying for being underweight and for diddled airboxes. Chief of Tech ran the whole SM grid over the scales, and found LOTS (like...at least 11) of cars a little too light.

This is exactly what needs to be done regularly, both in 'spec' series and in IT.

Not to fan the flames, but I heard 8 were light and 3 were other infractions. Maybe they were because of the AFM mods.
