Those barriers kept it interesting for sure. do you have any good shots of the four ITB cars that battled it out for first! Especially the last lap incedent that gave me a big hole in the side of the car? What an exciting last 3 laps. To bad I ended up with the hole but I had fun anyway and ended up third which clinched NERRC and NARRC

unfortunately I was all the way up near the station at 3 and could only see the tops of your cars when things got wild.
I have 600 pics from the weekend to go thru and I'm sure I have a few of the battles

Doug, awesome sequence. Glad you caught it, because my video never got turned on.

Imagine our surprise to see that thing rolling towards us!.

After the race we found that giant Lego *just* clipped my passenger side mirror and left a blue stripe down the side of the car.

Again, great pictues. Your stuff is the best I've ever seen.

    Thanks

    Steve

Well I think the enduro was a big success. It goes to show that you can put different class cars together and they can race together. Hats off to the drivers for there driving. Was great to only have one full course caution. Everyone seems to say they never get enough track time so maybe NER can look at putting classes together so you can get more track time and maybe even longer races. But again tremendous job to the drivers.

Nice pics. That was a scary moment, the silly thing was sitting still, mostly out of the way until I was just about on top of it when it started moving again.

I'll be curious to see the rest of the pics you got.

Great sequence! Note the black line laid down by the green car... just went to your site again, and let the intro play. Never did that on my old dial up....man what a great intro!!!!

We had a bit of a coming together, you could say, in the ITA race, between the 2nd and 3rd place cars....and I understand Phil Gott has it all on video. I have it too, from my POV, but of course, it doesn't show the entire event as the actual impact (my door!) was out of camera range! Does he ever post here? Anyone have his email??

If somebody can host my minutes worth of video, I can email it to them...

Well thanks a million for that! In particular, thanks to the flagger who was doing everything but cartwheels with the red-and-yellow as I came around 9. She (I believe she was a she) gave me just enough notice to dodge the big Nerf ball.

The barrier was not the only thing crossing the track during the weekend. I got to see a gopher cross the track at the flag station near Turn 8, during the Sat enduro. I only wish I had the camera in the car to catch it on film! Needless to say he crossed quick enough to make it across before I had to avoid him.

Funny story about the gophers.. On Sunday I heard the corner worker calling in a wildlife hazard.. There was a moments pause and then the reply from race control came: If it's alive and moving, wave the yellow; If it doesn't make it across the track alive, wave the debris !

I got a chuckle out of that one...
