Sorry about that, it was considered but other things happened! Next time if we're not there, try to find Dave or Jake, we see them a bit.

    John,

You guys better make it to NHIS, people bust the track for being small but there is a lot of action. My best races prior to the ones this year at the Rock have been at NHIS.

I watched the video, I think I pushed you half way up the back straight on one lap, unfortunately the T1 vette was ultimately my down fall as Kip and the C-GT1 car got by becuase he held us up on that lap. It turned out to be the end of my race as I spent the next 7-8 laps watching the three of you racing together while I got more and more frustrated by the Vette and Capri parking it in the corners and pulling away just enough so I couldn't get by under braking.

Jake - I'll get you at the next LRP race! Darn red car (BMW?) on the downhill (also on the cool-down lap during qualifying). Practice was awesome; still need to show and Diane the video.

Scott - Where were you? Rain scare you away?

I definately agree with some of the past comments. How much are we racing for? Believe me, I am extremely competitve! But not worth hurting my car or really more importantly others. Some of us, myself included, can't afford to fix the car if destroyed. Although that won't prevent some good rubbing if well deserved.

Oh....that would be me, I guess.

Okay...what exactly constitues a "spin"?? I would call Lou's event at the end of the video from "the other" Jake to be a classic "tank slapper". Is a quick 180 degree job with an instant recovery considered a "spin"? In the middle of Big Bend? Hmmm...thought so.

Well, fortunately, my video uploading skills aren't up to snuff yet, so that particular scene will forever be locked in the camera!

But thanks for bringing it up!

What's with you RX7 guys?! I think my new strategy will be to lay low and only pass RX7's while they're spinning.

The traffic did suck, and Kip got the better of me with it also - I got stuck between an SPO and an AS thing, and had to let the crazy 944 turning 0.54's by...not sure I would have caught Kip but it might have been closer at the end.....
