I've read my GCR regarding headlights (no removal), but it makes no mention of the motors or hardware that pop up mechanical type use. What do you think, can I get rid of the little motor. Want a legal car.

No, it does not state that you can remove them. You can not.

You will see many people post here "IIDSYCTYC". This stands for "If it doesn't say you can, then you can't."
