    Default ABS delete. Am I allowed to:

    I am in the process of converting my Honda Challenge GSR to ITS spec. One of the things I need to do is toss the ABS. Can I get some clarification on the following?

    1) Can I just disable the system by pulling the fuse?
    2) Can I remove the system completely? Remove sensors, modulator, ECM, wiring, etc?
    3) Can I replum the brake lines, change the proportioning valve?

    The reason I ask (3) is because it probably needs to be done a little bit to accomplish (2) and because it would be nice to have a bias valve. Hondas are valved FR<->RL, FL<->RR making it a bit hard to add bias valve without changing the proportioning valve and some of the plumbing.

    Thanks in advance for the help.

    >>> New username?

    Yeah, I'm gonna slowly meld into this new one. It's a bit more descriptive of who I am, less innocuous...I kinda wish everyone would use their real name, so I'm gonna start the trend...

    I'd have to look at the software, as I haven't played w/ UBB for a looonnnggg time, but I think an admin can change usernames.

    WTG, Andy!

    Well, Bill, if true I could ask to change it, but isn't Bill looking to go to something else anyway?

    That registration date is a burp if it's mine. I just created this ID this week...

    Weren't we talking about ABS or something like that...?

    Greg,

    That was a joke. The reg. date is mine. Been using my 'real' name all along. LOL

    Like I said, I think it's a good idea to use your 'real' name. For the most part, people who don't identify themselves have no credibility.
