Default IIDSYCYC - RV Mirror and Short Shifter?

I can't find any mention in GCR that you can substitute a wide-angle (Wink) rear view mirror. Does IT(S) require stock rear view? That seems to reduce safety.

Also, are short shifters disallowed or can they be allowed under the "Shifter may be bent above tunnel or floor?" I know it's a stretch, but my car had one when I started prepping it for ITS and I hate to have to go back to stock linkage.

    Thanks

    In the ITCS, rule 9.d:

"Any interior or exterior mirrors may be used."

Short shifters are illegal unless standard from factory.

    You can't. But I can.

The 944 has a shift lever that is essentially bent flat stock and I plan on bending mine in half above the tunnel and then attaching "any shift knob."

    hey George-

Bend it into an "N" for a super short shifter!

I thought the 944 had the hollow and rubber filled shifter arm.

Nope. It's the cheapest piece o' dung I've seen. Sometimes I wonder about these uberwagens.

The lever is essentially bent flat stock (not quite, but close enough).
