Looking for opinions on a cheaper tire to use to get seat time, ie; toyo or kumho 225-15. I have an its 240 with a over weight driver. Thanks

I can't offer any direct comparison, having never use the Kumhos but I can personally vouch for the Toyos. The things you hear about them lasting and being very predictable are entirely true. I started with full-tread RA1s at my first driver school last year and was still using them when they got down to cord last fall.

A kumho Victoracer should be cheaper. Both are fine tires (nothing like a Hoosie, however)but Toyos are a bit more money last time I looked.
