    Default New Avon D.O.T. Tires

    I was just scanning through the Tirerack website and found that Avon has entered the DOT R compound tire market. They look mighty close to the new Hoosier.

    Has anyone tryied them or heard any news?

    I saw these in the Tirerack ad in the latest GRM. Looks like a dead ringer for a Hoosier. And they're almost as expensive. But at least they appear to have some good sizes (225/45/15, for example).
