The key, the answer - use Pre-mix and you disconnect the stock oiler and you can then use Mobil 1 - this is essentially removing the problem that is caused by running Synhetic.

That is true... Basically because the Synth oil can withstand the high temps it does not completely clear from the apex seals and degrades the seal...

You should be able to get your current one fitted with an LSD - or your LSD repaired at a reasonable cost.

Oftentimes you will find that the drive shaft takes a beating from a welded diff - not sure why but they do crap out...

I hate to sound big headed - but unless you have raced on a track like Blackhawk or Road America you have no idea how good or bad your brakes can be - and at these tracks, the best drivers I know had...

They are fast and very stable, there are allot fo things you can do to the car to make them handle the same as an M3.

While the newer cars have better Fuel Injection, the 2.0 Motor is a stronger unit, but the 1.8 is 80lb lighter...

79's are the ones I am more familiar with - I have a friend who used to race one....

I would suggest max for both - whatever you can get from the stock peices...

3 degrees negative camber and whatever cater are ok...

0 to 1/4 toe out are also good to start with.

The Storm handles as well in stock form as in "built" form... As BadAl says, it's about as it's going to get from the factory.. very little left in it...
