If it gets below freezing where you're at, make sure you have anti-freeze in the cooling system as well. Make sure it's circulating while the Sta-bil is getting through the fuel system.

Flashback time!!! My first racecar was a MKI Capri with the 2.8l. A very forgiving car, especially with some suspension upgrades and good tires. As far as the cage goes, so long as it is welded up...

If I recall, that was also shown in one of the Laura Kroft movies. Sure would hate to hit a wind shear while doing that. :o

Okay, I don't resond on these boards often. Certainly not to these nit picking hair slitting rules interpretaion threads. However, this thread has gone beyond the silly, and into the obsolutly inane...

Even with the edited numbers, I'd still choose car 2. With the caveat that if I were more familiar with over the other, I'd choose that one. I still don't have a clue as to what either car is.

Woody, I second Greg's recommendation. While not a Neon racer myself, I work with a couple, plus we service a couple more.
Murray's et al, are if not cheaper than the Dealership rebuild kits, ...
Greg, we ran Golden Spectro at 100:1. No problems, but if you want to be safer, run it at 80:1. That's what I started with. No idea what Green Dot's running it at or with.

Were you aware that Wentzel's IT7 used to be mine?

BZZZZZZT Wrong answer Matt. I just picked up a set of front control arm bushing, (stock-oem) from the dealership just last week for a 1st gen Neon. And I also know that they are available for 2nd...

Well, if the third member in the latest version of the Miata is still aluminium, it'd be lighter. As far as is the Torsen being better or more durable than a clutch pack LSD, I really don't know, as...
There is an existing National class that allows turbos. T2 has the Mitsu EVO and the Dodge SRT-4. Both turbo-ed cars. SSC also has the the Mini Cooper-S, a supercharged car. We currently have at...

For what it's worth, Ive seen the larger spindles break as well. IMHO, it all boils down to maintainence. I ran a 1st gen with small spindles at WHRRI competivily for two seasons with no problems. I...
