Hey mods - Can we get an "AWD" section in the 'specific models' area????
Subi 2.5RS is approved.
Who wants the others approved? start filling out those VTS sheets and sending them in!
Woot!
Now if I can just have a good chassis show up in my driveway, I'll start the build! :)
VTS isnt' that tough to fill out and send in. Most of the info you need can be found on the web...
Child post to the AWD ITS/ITR discussion. Lets get a list together of potential classifiable AWD cars. If you have an idea or a request for a AWD car, put it down here. I'd say don't worry to much...
Josh - if you have started the VTS, send it my way and I'll get it completed and sent in. Save me some double work...
you can email it to me at: [email protected]
Thanks!
Also,...
I've been watching IT for a while, thinking about getting back into it since AWD is allowed. I've been very interested in building a Subie 2.5RS for some time as a fun track-day car, why not take it...
Roy,
Welcome to the world of racing and racing a 510! :023:
I've gone through some similar handling issues as you seem to be having. First off, contact Jeff Winter out in Colorado...
I will be there, possibly with my ITC 510 (if I get it back together in time...).
For sure a couple of T2 350Zs.
Step 1 - Make the car look good
Step 2 - have some 'friendly' adjustments made by a fellow racer
Step 3 - have someone take a picture of the other side of the car so it still looks good in...
I woke my arse up at 6 am to watch the race live. I figured that it might be 'right' to wake up to see the live broadcast of the new season, and I must say that it was more than worth it.
That...
The way I read the last part of this from Simpson, along with what Schroth has in their directions, is that you just must use caution when installing a 6 point.
If your seat that has the slot in...
I wish that packing my car for winter included loading it onto a trailer and driving somehwere nice like SoCal...
But since I still have to work so that I can race in the summer, myself and the...
Cool, another possible ITC guy out at Waterford!
While you might not find me in the winners circle (yet...), you can find me pitting with 1/3 of the ITC field at WHRRI, along with an ITS RX7,...
I appologize in advance for the hyjack of the thread...
How many ITC guys are lookig to show up?
This will be my first time at Mid-Ohio, and first time this year away from the home track and...
Thanks guys - it sounds like I luckily have Hawk blues, and should be able to get them bedded in all right during my first practice session the day before my first race of the year!
So here's a related question -
what happens if you do not bed in the brakes as indicated? or do not go through the full process?
or if you put new brakes on, drive the car on the street...
Hum, I'm surprised no one has chimmed in on this one yet... So I get to be the FIRST!
3 comments for you. Please take these as helpful comments only, we want you to join us on the track, these...
Nike.
I have a pair, forgot the name (I can check if you need me to) That fit very well inside my Bell M3 (glasses don't get pinched by foam), good looks, grippy rubber nose piece (keeps the...
Did anyone else catch any of Wind Tunnel last night??? This picture made it on TV!!!

There are some interesting articles in the last 2 issues of "RACECAR ENGINEERING" (at least that's what I think its called... someone please correct me if I'm wrong) that talks about airdams and...
I'd agree with checking continuity across the connector. If you are lacking continuity, load up that connection with dielectric grease and check again (I'd suggest filling the female PIN with the...
Just to add to the mix...
Has anyone tried the Hankook Z211s yet?
How do they compare to the Hoosiers, Toyos, various Kumhos?
Anyone have rain experience with these tires in full tread?
A couple of apex cones might be way to fix that problem. (no offense to anyone who races there, as I've never been there so can't speak from experience)
It's been a while since I read the rules, but I think I remember reading something about the stay-rod only being able to limit movement in 1 direction (fore-aft OR lateral), therefore you would need...
