Glad to hear everyone made it out okay.
Can anyone comment on the rate of fuel burned with a PNP or other ECU set-ups? I would imagine it has a lower bsfc rating. Might make for a better enduro set-up.
Since the argument concerns velocity stacks
Is this legal?

It looks like a velocity stack to me
Andy, I read somewhere, and looked at into it myself, but I believe the reasoning behind the 1.6L being more acceptable to power gains is that given it's dispacement, the camshaft is more "radical"...
DAMN! It looks like it wasn't such a bad idea not to come to Pocono to watch. Heck it might be worth packing some kyacks for next year. That really sucks about that Porsche. Sounds like a great...
I haven't posted in a while so here is an update. The closer I get to actually buying a car the tighter money seems to get. I can afford the car and the insurance, but I don't think it would be smart...
Bill and Tim,
Can you shed some light on the differences between an IT GTI and a Production GTI (both A1 and A2)? All I can see is the addition of slicks, ram air (or something similar),...
Awesome. I just wanted to compliment your car as it's one of the neatest and cleanest race cars I've seen.
"If all goes as planned you'll have a first class venue about an hour away in Millville come 2006"
Even better than an hour. It takes us about 30 minutes to get out there. I've read pretty much...
Thanks for the advice Al. The problem is I don't really have the room to have 2 cars and a trailer. I do have the room, but I don't think my parents would be happy taking up the all the driveway....
Hey thanks for the offer Bill. My email address is [email protected] (pathetic isn't it?). Like I said, I'll have my license by Sept. So after I get a car (probally sometime in the fall or...
I am going to crew. I plan to join sometime this winter and start auto xing in the spring. Tech sounds like fun, as that is what I'm into. Though I don't want to crawl under cars all day and miss out...
Sterling, is your Lancia Yellow and has #28 on the side?
Thank you Tim. I knew emmisions would be a big PITA. Sound shouldn't be too big of a problem (cat, plus a Nuespeed or the like cat back should be quiet enough). I wasn't sure about the cage as you...
Does anyone know how hard it would be to get an ITB spec GTI street legal? I'm sure some emmision equipment and the original style seat belts have to be put back on, but does anyone know anything...

If you read Tim Suddard's editorial you know he was talking about trying to get a GRM show on Speed. Well, the more people that post...
Has anyone tried Dupont Imron (the 2 part expoxy paint) on the interiors? If so, how does it hold up?

Well, the NASCAR folks should be happy, but it looks like they are going to get a full dedicated road course, plus more tracks in the...
"There's a yellow Scorpion here in production in SEDiv as well."
Maybe its the same one. It was up here at the Pocono double national, so maybe he was trying to get points for the runoffs. The car...
It's not a IT car, but with a detuned motor I bet it would be IT legal is the Lancia Scorpio that is running a production class in the NE. Very clean, awesome looking car. I believe it made it to the...
"The motorcycle drag racing community is shocked and saddened by the sudden loss of one of its most liked, respected, lifelong veteran and yet still promising members. The loss of Brian Schultz to...
Would an ITA/IT7 RX-7 work on the street? Since the motor is nearly stock all it is missing would be the emmision equipment.I'm looking for a street/auto x car for the first summer that I have my...
www.gt3times.com is a another good Gran Turismo site.
www.liveforspeed.net < computer game that is supposbly better than any Gran Turismo for realism.
You should see the new wheel they have out for it. They are selling it now, but it was designed for GT4. Still works with GT3, either 180 degrees lock to lock or 900 degrees lock to lock. You can...
