pegasus racing has a couple choices
Don't know if anyone is local to this or not, but my sponsor is hosting an event at bradenton motorsports park. Going to have the bug on display, would be nice to have a couple other road race dubs...

Decided to go with the MT-90, never used it before but from the description it seemed to be a better fit. Thinking of getting a wavetrac in the future.
Anybody change their final drive if so...
negative ghost rider the pattern is full.

Vw r32
Found this scrounging through craigslist

Just built a complete system for the bug with bends and pipe from columbia river. With the muffler and having an exhaust shop stretch some pipe think i spent about $250 for the whole thing.
Looks like I need to start searching for an R32 Golf, or get the parts to convert the bug to an RSi. Both of which should do pretty well with the VR6 and vw's all wheel drive system. Come to think of...
ooooh maybe we could get a class for 4wd trucks. I'd be down to do something like that. Might be interesting to watch.
You might want to check out local body shops or mechanics spots. The mom and pop ones that aren't real busy might be down for letting you rent space no questions asked.
Why do you always tell us...
That would be ok, just make sure the entire assembly is seperated from the driver's compartment by a bulkhead or thick aluminum box. There's an ita civic for sale in the classifieds that has a nice...
looks like MTL is the winner. Thanks for the imput guys.
What are you using and why? I'm between RedLine's MTL and their MT-90, not sure which one is better for the vw. Opinions?
Looks like the new 2500 is rated at 13,000. So with a 20-24ft trailer (about 4k lbs guesstimate), the car (3k lbs), maybe another 1k to 1.5k for misc. I should be just fine right? I think I'd rather...
So if I over compensated and said 3k that would be safe numbers to work with? I'd prefer a diesel 250/2500 but there's a lot of questions on reliability of the 6.0PS and the DM seems to be a little...
I'm looking at buying a truck and trailer soon, but would like to have an idea of what the trailer is gonna weigh (ball-park is fine) to help determine what I'm gonna need in the way of a truck. ...
Used to use a similar set-up on my 7. Had an axle tie down strap connected to the car with a chain link (the kind that opens with a nut). Used it a couple times, worked pretty good. Figure even if I...
Just curious if there's anyone in the Tampa Bay area that can do an inspection on a car to certify it? Looking to get a log book number for the car and a thumbs up that all is safe.
Aren't national events a bit more expensive to enter as well? I could care less one way or the other. I'm not looking for anything more than some good wheel to wheel action, and the way it stands...
SPU is actually something like Street Prepared Under some cc number. It's a catch all class and very few entries normally.
So you're thinking 6ish for the rear, any idea on the front? I've been hearing 400 but that seems a little high, but i used to run an rx7.
Just looking for a good starting point get going. MK4 chassis, 6 point cage, 2.0 5spd, ~2800lbs wet w/ driver, 28mm rear bar, stock front bar, all new bushings throughout. Running...
Whatever happened to them? I used to have a predator model it was great, looking to get the same helmet new and I can't seem to find anything. Did they go under or give up on the auto side or what?
