Hey Dan.
Didn't they change the rules is DP to allow any IT car made after 1990? That being the case you should be able to run your ITR car sans restrictor, that could be a pretty competitive car...
I'm old school.
H&T and double clutch on street car and racecar ALL the time, helps smooth out the down shifts, AND easier on the gearbox, PLUS sounds good ;)
That's on of the reasons I make...
Hey, back in the good old days when I ran pro stuff for Mitsubishi I remember the team owner telling me "If you have to bump someone out of the way to gain a place do it, we've got plenty of fenders"...
Jeff.
As luck would have it my registration just came in the mail and it says the unladen weight is 5350 lbs but that sounds a little high to me. I think my 20' was about 3000 lbs.
As far as...
Check with TPD. They are made from Fiberglass Reinforced Plywood, they are great quality and great resale. I just sold one I bought used in 2003 for $10,000 and just sold it last month for $8,400!

Oh well.
Day late and a dollar short...........That's me.
I'm just glad someone is running ITR.
Two questions:
1/ Did anyone race ITR before I did at Fontana Jan 27th?
2/ Is the Z4 classified?
Hey there ITR guys.
I ran in ITR at Fontana Jan 27 & 28th. Wasn't there a race in Florida before that?
At least I went the same speed as I did in old school ITS. Actually two weekends ago at...
Good topic
I've wanted to do this for years. I think this is a California only deal but, A cube van is not a trailer therefore the speed limit on the highway is 70 instead of 55 and they can drive...
Thanks.
That was the info I needed.
Actually found it on GCR page 561
You guys rock!
Hey troops.
Excuse my lazyness I'm trying to help someone out quickly.
Where is ST in the GCR?
I know nothing about this new class
Thanks in advance
Is that 22 complete sets? (4 Wheels)
ITR? Too expensive, no competition.
Hey now Chuck! Step up, build an S2000 and lets race.
Don't forget ITR is a new class.
Josh.
Fontana's a tricky one, there's a temporary wall at the outside of the last corner that is always in a slightly different place. That makes a difference since it's the last corner before...
Just got back from my first race of 2007 with Calclub at Fontana. I cleaned up in ITR! Oh yeh, I was the only one entered.
Has anyone else raced in ITR yet? If so, I wonder who was the first...
If I remember correctly IT started in CalClub as a Solo 1 or Solo 2 class back in 1980. I rembember that because I ran a V6 Capri in ITA (Damm I'm old!)
I remember reading a story from Jodi Scheckter when he was driving that car. They were at Silverstone testing when one of the front wheels came off, no big deal it still has three left. So he drives...
I know this is getting away from cheap generators, but I just bought a Honda EU3000is for $1795.00 and its fantastic. I used it at Buttonwillow and kept forgeting it was on. It's that quiet! Also it...
Hello Jeff.
You might want to mention to your Honda guys that SCCA's new IT class ITR has seven Honda products listed.
IT prep is probably more restrictive than Honda Cup, but it may be worth...
Josh.
I don't think you should dump it to the atmosphere. Way back when they started controling A/C work and changing over from R-12 to R-134, I took a state (California) school to get licensed,...
Now all we have to do is get them to recognise car numbers that start in 0 :P
Hey guys.
I'm mounting a fuel cell in the rear of my E36 enduro car and am pondering the choices for building the suporting frame. I looked in the GCR and while SCCA seems concerned about the fuel...
Hey Josh.
Come South and race with us! We have ITR and I'm planning on running in it.
Seriously, I wonder if they can get a sanction from SCCA national if they don't run all the classes. Maybe...
