Guys, the input is much appreciated... sorry for my delayed response. I'm interested in the HOWE option that C. Ludwig mentioned. Do you have any contact info for the guy in Arizona? Again thanks...
Guys,
Looking for radiator options for our '89 ITS racer. We are trying to keep the car budget minded, but not necessarly on the "cheap"... If you guys could share experience and brands.
Anyone...
Again, Chris... a big thank you. I kind of read it, and understood it, the same way, but being new to the ITS game, I wasn't sure, and wanted to make certain I wasn't the only one thinking this way....
Daryl,
Thanks I know that I could swap out the chassis, but we have, what we have.. a 1989 GTUs with PS. I know that I could find another non-PS chassis, but I'm not so sure that "all" of the other...
Hey guys, another question... After reading the GCR over and over, I can't seem to find anywhere that says that the POWER-STEERING system may be removed. On the contrary, I only see where it says...
Why yes it is... thanks on the pics comments.

Thanks Chris... I knew that... I guess I was just hoping that I missed the correct GCR section or something! ;)

Guys,
A question for you guys on our 2nd gen ITS car. I've been reading the '04 GCR, and I still can't figure out if one is able/allowed to remove the headlights and all of its assemblies or not....
I'm sure we do... just call the shop and ask to speak to Jim. 805.965.5115
I do remember you and your partner stopping by.., definitely a small world!
Cheers,

Oh, I see on tricks... no, if we had a little larger budget, and wanted to create a top flight ITS car, then maybe we would, lets say, "innovate" a little more. Mariah is always willing to think...
Thanks Jamie... but the GTUs stays as the race car. In Cali you can find them from time to time and this one was in need of some work. The guy who sold it to us had it for sale for many, many months...
Thanks Bill, but the GTUs is going to be a race car. We gave it considerable thought and decided we were ahead of the game with this gem, so we are going for it. Believe you me it hurt us too.

Guys,
Just wanted to let you all know that the RotaryNews.Com 2nd gen RX-7 ITS racer is finally starting to make some progress. Our intention with this project is to build and race this car in the...
Brian:
Thanks for the information. Here is a link to AWR's site:

The radiators still look pretty pricey. Right there with MazdaComp.

Guys,
What system are you 2nd gen guys using?
We are debating between a specialized IT header and single path exhaust or a RB dual header with duals all the way out to a single muffler.
Just...

The Saga continues:
We recieved our beautiful white Kosei wheels from Tire-Rack, a week ago or so, and we were impressed. Not only were we impressed by the lightness and look of the wheels, but...
You are right Paul. Evan Gardner runs a beautiful red FD in the ITE class. The car runs with a PP 13B motor. Sweet Car.

why Pauly, do you like it?
Actually it is a quick photo-shop job, done on our actual GTUs racer. I wanted to see what the car was going to look like prior.
I also have a better one with the...
I'm right there with you.. We might not be the fastest or best funded, but we'll look half way decent. I also draw the line! ;-)
A preview for you guys...

Andy,
Thanks again for the info. I really wanted to get the wheels from a company that supports racing. The price is just a little too high. We'll be able to get the tires, rims and heat-cycling for...
Andy,
I contacted RIMPRO (www.rimpro.com) about the getting some Kosei wheels and Dan was very helpful. The unfortunate situation is that they are on the expensive side. They quoted me $225. per...
Guys,
What are you guys running as far as clutch set-ups. I inquiried with several ITS guys at this last weekends Cal Club Buttonwillow National race and got several combonnations. Not one car had...
The stock '89 GTUs wheel size and offset is
listed as:
16x7 / 40mm offset.
This is why I thought I might be able to use something close to a 40mm offset. A 225 section width tire on 15" wheel,...
