Alot more interior volume than a miata or lotus
I agree with this as well. With my next car most likely going to be an STU car it makes sense.
All signed up for ecr and double sarrc. Got my ringer coming down for the ecr!
You should see them in the rain with the abs. Those are the next top level its cars!
I had a Y87 optioned 97 camaro. Essentially it made it a Z28 with a v6. Same rack rear end and brakes as a Z28 but with better weight distribution. Awesome GS solo 2 car. and it was a 5 speed.
Well my car is still on stands. I have a short list, install shocks when back from truechoice, finish removing sound deadening, mount up 10 new mystery tires, scales, alignment, change oil, usual...
Online registration finally open on nescca.com. I got to be the first one online to register. Now, I just need to get the car done. So much work so little time. Damn housework is killing me!
Greg, you should call Mark at McB in Bridgeville. He know has 2 Rx& ITS cars in the stable down there an I know he has fixed cooling issues with one of them.
IIRC that is only for FIA belts. The SFI belts I believe are only good for 3 years
I was thinking of 4 to 5 miles of 75-80mph plus some cornering. Seems to me that a local autocross 1-2 runs back to back would work as well.
So what is the best method you use to heat cycle them in? I can still drive my car on the street so I would consider running the fronts only for a good 10-15 minutes change and repeat. Cool in dark...
This only what I have read and heard. I have not personally tried either tire yet. As far as the goodyears what kind of life do you get out of them.
The real question will be will the Neon be ready for that Honda????
Your probably right figure you, me, Jarrett, Marhefka, Kozak is 5 cars alone there and add in the 7-8 other...
I look at both tires and know there is no contingency so that makes things even.
Which tire will be faster and offer the best life. The BFG's I have only read opinions based on heavier cars. I...
Figure probably 5-6 A cars as well. I'll be coming after you Greg:eclipsee_steering:
Well here is a thought and something I have always thought was a good idea. The SVT should be a ITS car and the regular V6 Contour an A car. Sure it would be heavy but I bet it would be fun!:D ...
The 2000 and up cars are in ITA for sure since they have the 2.0. The 99 and older cars that are LX or ES are also in ITA with the 1.8 at 20 lbs heavier weight and smaller brakes. The 99-00 DX cars...
I had an '02 ES with the 2.0 that I ran for several years in FSP Solo 2. The car would kick ass in ITA for sure. Based on what I run in my ITA ACR Neon, I think that the protege could be the car to...
Chris, are you looking at the BFG R-1's at all. From what most people say they are almost as fast and last way longer from a consistency standpoint as well as heat cycle. The other tire you should...
The neon is kinda of the same way. The SOHC motor responds to higher IT build HP gains then the DOHC. But the DOHC car gets the 200lb weight penalty. The weights for the neons should be closer to...
x2 my 95 SOHC ACR with my 235 lbs in it is within 40 lbs of the 2450 minimum with all of the interior sound deadening in it a kirk bolt in heavy wall cage and heavy at like 17-18lbs a piece Borbet...
Mmm I would say that gives new meaning to my motivation:cool:
No that will be me that will need the hook:eek: I figure if I can get into the mid 18's at Nelson this year I will be very happy:happy204: Then it will be time for a final drive change and to build...
I should be close to Chris's set up as far as rates. I'm running 500F and 700R with Mopar 22mm bars front and back with revalved konis.
Hankook was out of the picture. If Kumho is the only player that will make my decision to run something else easier!
