Hopefully anyone who used to race a first gen. RX7 (or still has one parked in their garage) will answer this question. Where are the RX7 ITA/IT7 race cars? We finally received official approval of...
Gotta add my 2 cents...comparing the CRX with the 1st gen. RX7 isn't fair. How about comparing the ITA CRX wtih the SECOND gen RX7.
Waterford 1st Place CRX - 1.16.867

Ahh, the dreaded sound of the ex-rotary engine. Let me know if you need a stock 12A.

Hey Scott Nutter,
What happened? Why didn't you race on Sunday?

Ben,
I'll try to address your concerns/questions.
IT7 not on entry forms - Since the IT7 class was/is CenDiv "optional" (just like ITE, BabyGrand, SRX7, Legends, etc), it is up to the individual...
Mike,
Go to www.crossracing.com. The #98 car shown is for sale. I think there's an email link there.
Dave,
I think the issue stems from the Area 4 vs. 5 politics. Last year 2003 and this year, the CenDiv Regional Champ Series official list the IT7 class as optional (just like Spec7, ITE, Baby...
We are pleased again to announce the 2004 Central Division SCCA IT7 Championship Series with year-end trophies provided by G-Force Engineering.
Your support is required to maintain the IT7 class...
Thanks for the responses guys. I guess this makes this season's tire choice a lot easier.
Any of you guys try the new Khumos yet? Any comparisons to the old Khumos or Hoosiers?
Any of you Southern boys, who get to go racing earlier than us Northerners, try the new Khumos yet? How do they compare to the older Khumo or Hoosier?
Ben,
Because IT7 was an "optional" CenDiv class for 2003 (and will be again in 2004), the individual hosting regions have the option of including them in the event groupings. Last season most of...
Congratulations MWDiv. Now we need to figure out how we can get more IT7 cars to the ARRC.

We're currently finalizing the official results for the inaugural CenDiv IT7 Regional Champ Series (with trophies provided by G-Force Engineering). But here's a quick overall summary of this past...
Hey...how about the traditional front 3/4 view?
Damn...can't make it again. Maybe I'll be there in September. Miss ya.
Dave Dewhurst - Since a SpecRX7 is just a slow IT7 - just race with that class http://Forums.ImprovedTouring.com/it/wink.gif
Last season I had the letters "ITA/R/7" on my car because I ran ITA events in CenDiv, ITR at Waterford Hills track, and IT7 at Road Atlanta. It was questioned by SCCA grid or tech a couple of times...
Routing? Cooler A-out to Cooler B-in, Cooler B-out to Engine-in, Engine-out to Cooler A-in?
7's Racing,
I checked out the guage photo link...nice work. I also edited your link to find any other "fastnblue" photos... WOW! Who's the chick looking out the window? What's the story behind...
As I saw a stock AC condensor sitting on my garage floor, I wondered if it could be used as an oil cooler. Anybody have any experience? What pressure is the AC system?
Scott,
Jim Susko of G-Force Engineering can answer your IT7 specific suspension questions. He also has IT7 suspension parts available for purchase.

I have an aluminum plate installed on my 1ST GEN. car and have a template available. I can send copies of the template or a full fabricated, ready-to-install plate.
Remember this is for 1ST GEN....
IT7 has been approved as an optional CenDiv class for 2003. Go to MidWest & CenDiv forum for more info.
