Damn, that is some serious damage of that thing. Reminds me of that time the wind somehow managed to pick up a substantially large rock and flew it straight at my car's windshield. The aftermath...
I'd go for e-Bay, really. If you can't find it anywhere, else, you're liable to somehow find it there.
I change radiator fluid and coolant pretty often. I know I shouldn't and that I don't need to, but I'm a little crazy about temperature problems.
Gutted cars are nice and all, just make sure you don't end up like my cousin Robbie. He got overzealous and gutted the radiator along with most of the car. I think he said he cut out the drive shaft...
Say, how effective are custom radiators? I've been thinking of having one made, though I've never had one and I've only used the usual kind for my cars.
I use a dual pass Ron Davis radiator as well. I switched to aluminum a couple of months back because I needed something that can handle a lot of heat.
bringing that many parts with me, I just bring replacements for whatever I think might get damaged.
Damn, man. I wish I could afford to buy this car right now, but I'm in a bit of a financial bind. My other one crashed and I'm paying for overhauling practically half the car.
