does it matter what style wheel it is?
And your sure this will work on a second gen? I HAD to run 1/2 inch spacers with the vert wheels because they would not clear the sleeves on my coilovers.
...
So I can run the 5" backspacing wheel in a 7" width from that website that I have listed with no problems?
Hello,
I have an 87 RX7 that I have been autoxing. Last year I ran the car with convertible BBS wheels. I am looking to go with a wider wheel this year to compliment a set of 225/45/15 Hankook...
If you get mechanical gauges, just stick with a good brand like Autometer, and you should be fine. I run all mechanical gauges in my car, and I haven't had any problems. Only down side is that I...
I wasn't aware that two mufflers were required? It would be interesting to know what a stock 6 port motor will dyno though...
Hey John! Good to see that your car is coming along. These guys sound like they know what they are talking about. Best of luck to you at the RR school.

Thanks Mark. There is a local company around here, Kirkey Roll Cages that makes cages, but I don't know if they can pre-bend all of the pieces and let us weld them in or not.
Of course right...
Well I managed to cut the towers enough to get negative 3 degrees of camber on both sides. That should be enough for now...

Also, what size tubing did you go with in the roll cage in your car Mark? I found a local roll cage manufactuer here in Alabama that I am considering getting my tubing pre-bent from and I would like...

Thanks for all of the great advice everyone! I believe that I am about to put the car in the garage permanently for the winter and work on some body cosmetics, (new S5 fenders and front bumper) and...
I appreciate the advice, and I can understand what you mean by full on throttle and full on brakes...lol. Good to know that my manual steering is good. And just so everyone knows, I did ditch the...
Anyone?
You guys are gonna love the way the car sounds with this exhaust setup!!! I'm actually considering putting a 3" turn down on my muffler just to make it a little quieter!!!
I'm really glad that...
LOL, I would but I've kind of hacked up my shocktowers now (drilled holes, made big hole ALOT bigger...so I would probably have to redo it all to get anything that's bolt in.
Mike at ISC used to...
Well thanks! It may not look like much right now, but I love the car and currently it is alot faster than I am...
I appreciate the advice...perhaps I am running too much negative camber? And...
Yes, I am running the Speedway bar. And yes I am running -2.5 degrees of camber in the rear, but that was per Mike at ISC's instructions...
Holy crap! How are you getting that much negative camber in the front? I already had to cut the hole in the top of my shock towers out bigger just to get it to where I could get a full -3 degrees...
Okay, well here are the details on what I have done to the car.
-Full ISC Racing suspension-non adjustable billstein's, 400/250 springs.
-AWR Rear steer eliminators
-ISC Racing Front sway...
Hello all,
I am a newbie to the site and new to the sport. So with that being said, I have a few questions about the setup on my car.
I went to a PDX a few months ago and it was my first time...
Yeah I know, but they just kinda look funny without them. They are the twist and lock kind, so they shouldn't ever fly off. Now I need to sell them...lol.
-Vincent.
Well to give everyone an update, I did get the new studs and spacers put on my car-which totally fixed my tire rubbing issue. The sad thing is that I can no longer run my center caps...lol. Who...
Well, after further review of my finances, it looks like I won't be able to get my car corner weighted and aligned before the TGPR event... I just hope that I have the ride heights and camber close...
I will have to agree with everyone else about this. I purchased all of my stuff at one time because my car needed it. Plus, when you go to take everything apart, you'll release that it's a pain in...
