I never learned how to do it for the ~10 years I drove FWD IT cars, mostly all with OEM clutches, as there was never a need to. Once I went to an un-sprung dual-disc kit on my FP car, I then had to...

Hey Steve, great to hear you'll be making it out! I'll be there, but in my FP Integra.
In ITA, the last time I talked with Joe Moser, he and his Dad were planning on being there. I don't know...
I'm going to go with "because he drove the fucking wheels off the car and two Integra's punch a HUUUUUUUGE hole in the air for one little Miata".
And Hoppe, you're going to have to show me this...
 Like moths to a lamp.
Andy's home track of Limerock is different how?
Point being, bring it to one of the big events where the best are racing. ARRC would be even better, but I'll be the first person to admit it's...
Andy needs to come to IT Fest. I'll (probably) be there. Mosers will be there. /discussion
But I still think there's a good 10 different chassis in ITA that can win. Some just need the level...
Little time with a compression gage and a run or two on a dyno would be quicker and easier to tell if something's going on in there that shouldn't be. If you hook it up and it's putting down like...
Chris,
The 84-87 Civic is all on the same spec line, so I don't think it matters which headlights you run. If you do go with the 86-87 ones, you'll have to replace the header panel too as its also...
Tom, it's my understanding the July 10-11th National & Restricted Regional will be using it, but I don't know for sure if that's true. That's the only SCCA event there this year, and unfortunately...
That'll be a first for me. Hopefully no one gets ansy on the front straight when they see the pace car pull off.
52 classes? Really? Is that how bad it's got? Damn, I think we have NASA beat now.
None of those IT races are going to go off without getting mucked up by one of the "new classes". ...
At 2500lbs, I've always wondered if someone could really run one of those competetively. 2.0L, 16V, good sized brakes & tranny ratios. Certainly looks decent on paper, but can't say I've ever seen...
I got to meet all of these guys at the National Convention, and it's definitely worth doing if you have the opportunity. Have direct conversation and provide your opinions directly to the powers...
I'd double-dip too and bring our new ITB '92 Civic DX in addition to my ITA Integra if I knew I wasn't paying 2x entry fees. I really want to see what that ITB car will do at Mid Ohio.
So is this the grouping then?
Group 1 SM, SSM
Group 2 ITB, ITS
Group 3 SRF, EP, FP, HP, GTL
Group 4 ITA, IT7, ITC
Group 5 ITR, ITE, AS, STO, STU
Group 6 FF, CFF, FC, CFC, FE, FM
I'm ok...
A race valved Koni Yellow will easily handle 1000lbs - I've been doing it for years on my ITA car. I'd take those 750's you've got and put them in the front, buy a set of 1000's for the rear (come...
Yes, Special Projects splitters/air-dams are IT/HC legal. They are within the vertical body line of the car, do not go below the wheel rim, and only go back as far as the fender opening; the three...
Damn, this turned into another one of "those" threads.
Bob told me he was thinking about doing that. They (the CRB) are well aware of the talk going on about this on the internet, and quite frankly kind of wish it wasn't. But, they recignize that this...
Damn Jake, you think I'd sell out?!
Saturday morning was the CRB Town Hall meeting, and I did indeed stand up, introduce myself (because up to that point few knew who I was), and asked for...
Thanks a lot guys! Sitting in the Vegas airport about to head back to frigid Ohio. This has been an incredibly fun and very educational weekend for me, so to also win this award during it too, is a...
Learn how to qualify higher, RX-7 driver!
:D
To me "lightly modified production vehicles" means SM and SS. Regional versions of those can be had for "just a few thousand", plus even some Prod cars too. Nope, not referring to IT.
I think I pen'd the rant for this last year.
I haven't even received mine yet.......but was there a Prod car?:D
Screw it, put SM in Group 1 then, and have ITA in Group 3 or later for the double-dippers.
(For the record, ITA was in Group 1 last year, and that's not conducive to our Saturday night...
