My old GCR has the GTI VR6 listed as an ITS car. Has this changed at all, or is this still the correct class for the car?

Whoa! Seems a lot less complicated than I originally thought. This is definitely an option for me in the next year or so.

Good tips, all...will most likely replace the LF control arm. However, I'm putting the car on a rack to see if (please, no!) it's the unibody that's fubared.
Tim, I'm using poly bushings with the...
I noticed that the left front wheel on my 84 GTI seemed to be much closer to the rear part of the fender well when compared to the right front. Upon measuring the distance from the center bore of the...
Thanks for the tips, Tim & Ian...have verified both cam and ignition timing. Everything checks out okay...I just needed more time in the car to get a feel for her again.

I've seen a few Rabbit GTIs and Golfs with these very wheels. If I'm not mistaken, as long as the wheels are from non-Quattro models, they will have a 4x100 bolt pattern. One example of a non-Quattro...

I've found a healthy bottom end, so i was thinking of just getting new rings for the bottome end, and just do a proper IT head.
Might as well get some money for the pistons, since I gotta get new...
Steve,
I have a brand new set of .040 over (82mm) pistons with rings. Let me know if you're interested.

Doh! Could you please move this post to the "fools who can't read" thread?
Thanks, Bill!

Not only that, but there are a lot of $20 words that a culchie (hehe...any paddymen out there?) like me doesn't understand. I wish they'd use words with no more than 3 syllables.
