Last weekend I was co-driving a very nice Nissan SER at Sebring built by Russel Mcmullen that we won the last enduro with at Daytona,
Russel ran it in practice and I set out to qualify...

ARRRRGH!!!!
I guess I will not be racing with you guys unless a miracle happens for me...
Motor is out of the old car in pieces tranny in pieces, new car put on pause.....
Maybe a spectator...

The paint is 12 years old and only 75k on the car and still gets 40 mpg....no air not good in Florida...

I did the ground effects and rear spoiler myself out of styrofoam and fiberglass...

17 lbs of sound deadening matting. The brackets total weight is probably 2-3 lbs still...

In our quest for lightness can you remove un needed brackets and mounts like seat and center counsel brackets and other junk?:shrug:

The reason is the older one has a shorter wheelbase and is less weight, And lower air profile than my tub.
I have always liked the older model better. I guess it would be crazier if I was building...

Thats a decent price for a dd...they auto x the heck out of these cars.
Parts there is Saturnmotorsports and SPS that still have some things left.
Engine is easy to work on and pretty tuff too....
