Chris S,
I'm currently looking for 2 13x8" panasports for a 87 CRX
What kinda time frame and price would i be looking at?
I'm located in ontario canada.
Looking forward to a response,...
BUMP!
I'll send him a e-mail.....
any other options? This can't be all can it?
I will be purchasing new front shocks for my 87 CRX within the next month and really need to get some informed opinion's.
I currently have off the self koni yellows which have recently blown. If i...
Your not going to find anything here since them mods don't fit the ITC rulebook although i'm sure somebody knows.
Thanks for the contact info. I'm just leaving for the track know but i will be sure to contact them on tuesday.
My only problem with Honda Tech is that threads about 1st gen rexs are few and far between. But alas, what option am I left with, honda tech it is. I wonder if my pass still works........
What...
hmmm, nothing. i figured one of your CRX gurus would have some idea about this type of thing. Guess not
Could somebody please direct me somewhere that this info can be found?
Thanks
First off, i should point out that i'm not using my 1st gen CRX SI for IT racing and these mods are most likely not allowed. However they do fit the rules for the series i am running and my hope is...
My guess is that it was running VERY rich with the teg ECU. Actually it runs quite rich with the stock ECU(safty over proformence). I believe i should be able to find more power by running the car...
RE: Integra ECU.....
I was only the dyno last week and decided to see if the teg ECU did much. Short answer, NO!. Sure you gain a few hunderd RPM and maybe a tiny bit more power and torque...
Thanks Jeremy.
I think i've found something else for this season. Hope it works out.
Tom made the suggustion that i go there a while back. i just decided to try it out last night as i had some time.
Thanks Jason.
i'll post some more questions when i figure out exactly what i'm going to do.
Thanks Jason for clearing up the carb naming.
I looked into carbs for quite a while but i just can't justify $1000us, that's almost $2000 canada by the time i get it here. Used would really be...
is the 34 DMTR the Dual side draft carb?
if not then which card is the 34 DMTR?
"Weber 34 DMTR, and a nasty little regrind from Webcam."
yeah, i know they work well and provide some nice power but for $1000US.....convert that to canadian......riiiiiight
Don't i wish!
...
Chris, i am talking about the 87 SI motor not the 2nd gen SI.
"The 1st was the '86-'87. Yes from what I have seen you can bolt the 1st gen ZC to a 1st gen Si block."
Thanks. However it seems...
"To switch from dx carb'd to Si fuel injected, you'll have to replace everything from the gas tank up."
Yeah i know that.....
"The ZC head will NOT bolt onto the Si block. "
Wierd, i've been...
yeah i would love to go that route. However my rules count that as a engine swap so i would be put into another class. It would cost a total of 7 prep points.
Currenlty i have 5 to work with.

I’ve been reading these forums for a while and they have been a great help . I realize my solution is not allowed under the IT rules but maybe somebody can shed some light on the solution to see how...
