The initial classing in ITR is slated at a weight of 2380 lbs I believe. If the weights stay as the list currently sits, I think the GT-S will be a good enduro car for ITR.
Hey Pete, good to see the accord is comming out! Mike and I will be unloading on Friday, want us to save a space for ya?
New paint on evans car? wow, now it'll look as good as it runs, yay!
yeah, the advanced design struts claim to be very durable, i haven't any first hand knowledge but am considering them for my "new" car.
It seems as though you might need to consider inverted struts, most likely a custom job.
Or just do like eveyone else and run an ita integra. :P j/k (stirring it up)
if its a manual, its the clutch. if its an automatic it could be one of a couple things, either way it's a drivetrain issue.
Don't forget about the 330 Bimmer. ITR seems to be the class to build, can anyone say dual purpose ITR / Grand Am Cup car? Of course ITR would carry a bit more ballast.
Cool, it'll be great to see the "not so common" race car there. Looking forward to it!
yeah, im a dumbarse, I saw it on the scca website as a press release about 2 minutes after I posted that. go easy on me :P
Yea for the media, putting pressure on the modernization of club racing.
You may want to check with jim wolf technologies, they would have the most info available for the 2nd gen that I know of.
In my experience probes are best for tire temps, and IR for brake rotors, just be sure if you get an IR to get one that goes over 888 degrees. I second the above comments on adjustments to set-up...
And John Dean Jr. here in SEDiv.
More expense to be competitive in IT if IT goes national? God forbid there are more fully prepped cars in IT. Maybe this is what IT needs so the true potential of classed cars becomes apparent....
microtech is very small and very good.
Road Atlanta = Historical Landmark maybe?
Just another tangent to look at as far as "National IT" is concerned...
If people are concerned about negative impact on existing IT structure, a possibility of giving the high $$ guys a place to...

Jake- sorry, didn't make the sarcazm clear :P
Solo2 is a GREAT place to start. Can get to know the basics of good car control without risking your neck and/or car. Check out www.cfrsolo2.com You could also volunteer to crew for people in the...
I'm excited to see a new class. However, in my perpetual state of negativity I polled that the BOD would turn it down. I'm glad to see some of the decision makers are for it as it would definitley...
Quite the contrary, copy/pasted from the GCR:
D. For purposes of determining tubing sizes, the vehicle weight
is as raced without fuel and driver. The minus tolerance

Sounds like MR2 to ITB re-cage arguements are no longer valid and 1.8 ITA miatas could get weight without having to recage now? Wow, what a heap they've "stepped in" :cavallo:
note: my cage is...
I dont think it's going to extend tire life. What I imagine will happen if the DOT changes make any impact on the R compound tires is that the tire manufacturers will end up using a multi-layer...
