Thanks, Jim.
Standings from the ITC races please.
We may have a spare bed in the RV this weekend, even for a Honda guy:D
I'll be there with my Fiat, so hopefully not -that- easy a win...
Planning on getting my sorry ass moving and putting the car together to make this one, my first(and most likely only)one of the year.
We get a lot of the 1st gen Sprinters in our shop, if the new ones don't have any bigger brakes than the old style, no way would I tow with one. Brakes on the old body style are barely adequate for...
uh, no.
Head gasket leakage will not always show a compression problem. These engines back in the day used to frequently break one of the center head bolts, check these bolts for looseness, if they move,...
Mass airflow sensor would give you a problem like this. Try unplugging it and see if throttle responds. Will run badly, but if it stays running, this is most likely the problem. Sensor can sometimes...
Total waste of money. Barely adequate for street use, useless on a track car.
As I understand it, nothing available in June, which is kind of weird, it seems like we never have any events in June. Why is that?
Went to the Western Ohio board meeting last night, looks like they have some dates offered for Nelson for WOR games. Unfortunately, 2 of those dates are for May, which I think would be a good option,...
Hey, Steve Demeter. Now that you're officially a member of ImprovedTouring.com, does that mean you are ready to give up on the formula car and buy an IT ride?:D
Western Ohio Region.
May run a shorter schedule this year than in past years, but I definately plan on doing my part to shed parts and/or fluids around the track at this event!
I think that by adding additional non-IT, non-spec classes the marketing of this event will be diluted. A large part of what makes this event stand out from the herd is that it IS aimed at the IT...
As an owner of an ITC Fiat X1/9, the concept of being able to race reliably for periods of longer than 15 minutes or so with nothing breaking, leaking out, falling off, or catching on fire is alien...
you guys suck.
:happy204:
I was still planning on going, despite the blown up engine. I think I could get it back together in time, but Downing wimped out and isn't going now because his Honda is only faster than half the...
Car ran bad all weekend, blew it up on Sunday, beer drinking went as planned. End of story.
I'm an ITC driver in a Fiat x1/9, and I think the "benefits" of a mid-engine design in a production-based race car versus front wheel drive are highly over rated. The more central location of the...
Come out to our real cowboy-track!
Steve, you don't mean like Broke Back Mountain cowboys, do ya?
I'll be there with the Fiat in ITC, Downing is planning to run the Civic in ITA since there was no major damage at the OVR race. Kevin, is your dad going to run in C?
Good point, but most of my problems that weekend were due to inserting my head in my butt while driving. Hopefully, this problem is at least temporarily resolved!
