Correct, that's not the GSR intake... IIRC, it's a Skunk intake that's going to be swapped out for a legal one.
Mike, can't wait to see the build start to come together!
Yep... Well tuned FWD cars will always end up lifting a rear wheel. How much/how far that rear wheels lifts is indicative of total front grip and roll rate. Personally, I've found the fastest setup...
Yeah, that's repairable. Might want/need a new lower subframe welded into the rear but definitely not the end of the world. For the $$ though, you may be better off buying the roller I linked to...

Christian, who's a little familiar with the car above...
Stock is just fine.
14x7 Team Dynamics are plenty light and strong. They're also not terribly expensive.
Yep, 4.7FD isn't too hard to find. Plenty of folks make them... do a little searching/asking to see which...
ST-43's are some serious good shizzle... definitely worth a try but they run some high temps. Make sure you've got good ducting.
You can still get hubs from the dealer for the EF.
14x7's are fine. I wouldn't worry about the corner weight and tire capacity... it's a non issue. You don't want 15x7's b/c fitting 225/45...
x2 on sitting in them... it's really the only way to decide. For me, the Recaro Pro-Racer XL was the way to go. I loved the Racetech's but the Recaro was even more comfortable and about the same...
Thanks! :)
Yeah, remote fill/dry break is completely legal. The big caveat is that the filler has to be "flush with the body". Take a look at the pics of my setup and it might help you with some ideas.

1st, everything tGA said is spot on. DL1 is some serious goodness and Jeremy Lucas is the MAN when it comes to data aq and data interpretation.
I've had both. Started with the Traqmate and...
That'll be a decent jumping off point but definitely too soft, IMO.
Well... car is up for sale here:

This ^^^^ should get you into the ballpark. Any idea if you can make the chassis stiff enough to handle those rates or are you just going to turn the chassis into the "spring"?
Christian
OK, so steel drums are bad b/c of less heat dissipation. Nevermind that I'm sure you could have custom shoes whipped up that would work at the higher heat but I follow your train of thought.

 Riiiiight. Again, I think the spirit and intent of the rule is to allow removal/replacement/relocation of mirrors... I just don't see how the existing rule allows for it.
Christian, who...
Sounds like the "formula" was re-run on them under the Errors and Omissions allowance? The really odd thing is that I thought the BOD put the kibosh on this recently...
Christian
Ahhhh... you're just defensive b/c you've got illeeeeeguuuullll mirrors on your ITR BMW!!!! ;)
And I disagree with ya'. It is an allowance (just like any other) to deviate from the default, stock parts. Iif it doesn't say "any location" then you can't change the location... same thing with...
Well... not quite.
I've always felt like this should include deleting external mirrors but the actual rule just allows you to use alternate mirrors. i.e. for the exterior, a smaller...
Damn! Sorry to hear about this. I'm in North St Augustine and will keep an eye out for anything fitting the description.
Christian
Well... sounds like building is a "good" idea for you since most of the normal hurdles aren't there in your case. Best of luck with the build and definitely talk with Jeff about the Saturn. He's...
Buying is certainly a smart move if you can get a solid car that has had all it's maintenance and has a decent cage... otherwise you may be buying someone else's issues. The other thing to consider...
