I agree. Although when I bent up one about a year ago and ordered one from Honda the dealer told me there were only " a few left in the US."

looks like we've fixed it using the "start replacing parts" approach. We replaced the engine wiring harness and it appears to be fixed. Thanks everbody for the help!

Tom was a great competitior and was at most of our races in the SW Div. His father also raced SRX-7 which runs in our IT group in SWdiv. We visitied with them on friday during practice. We will...
I agree that it is possibly a ground issue. We've checked those and they appear to be ok. We also replaced the distibutor with a known good one (it was running a car in the paddock!). All good...
I thought I might some advice from the forum:
At our TMS race 2 weeks ago I was able to run a total of 1/4 of a lap in qualifying and that was it. Not fun. Here's the problem:
Car runs fine...
Bill:
Just sent you a PM about moving DP to a different group for this weekend.
Pete.
confirmed with Mike Cudahy that there will be no resticted regional. "It upset the national drivers." ?????
I'm still not clear why it was listed on both the regional and divisional web site...
Looks like the sups don't include an IT event this year at the CAT national?? Any ideas from the central division folks?
I really didn't plan on going down but since "we" had 2 days of racing I decided to support the weekend. (especially since I have complained in the past). It looked pretty thin in the paddock the...
In my experience, any pressure greater than 40psi causes grip and tire life drop significantly.
Mac-
I agree that it would give the SoWest Div IT community more racing time. However, it might also give the division an excuse to continue to ignore our pathetic regional racing program. (See...
See my quiz in a previous thread!!
From an ad posted on this site. Which one of these modifications is not allowed in Improved Touring?

"The TWS 2.9 takes longer to clear between sessions than the 1.8 does, and there simply isn't enough time to run 7 groups on both days on the long track. In order to keep the RRs on the schedule, a...
Rats! I had this event on my summer travel schedule. I hope the track mgmt comes around
2 years ago I towed out to race in NorCal (Sears, and Laguna) from Texas. I've raced at Hallet too but not MAM. I thoroughly enjoyed racing out there with you guys but I'd have to say the tow was...
Hey Ron-
Welcome to the weather the rest of us get to experience during the year!
I agree with the advice listed above. I raced twice in the rain this year with full tread toyos and softend up...
Bill,
To clarify, I'm just restating what was in fastrack. E. Peters here in the Sowest Division is one who is spearheadding this charge.
Neon added to ITA but has added weight (see fastrack)
I agree with Knestis,
1) no
2) no
3) maybe. Again not clearly defined in the GCR. Stock mounting points are changed in only one location. Kept the same in 2 others.
Depends on what offset wheel you plan to use. I can fit the Kuhmo V700 225-50's front and rear.
I went out west and raced in the NOrPac region twice last year with a moderately developed Honda, I'd have to agree with Tak. As a "point of reference" I had never been to those courses (laguna and...
Dave:
As others have said "front running" usually means car has capability to go fast + fast driver. That being said, I'd consider myself a pretty average driver and was still "front running"...
Looking for a little guidance here. I've been offered a trade for my IT car (VW which I've been trying to sell for some time) for a 240Z which someone has been autocrossing. I believe the car is...
Tim,
Sorry I missed you at the social on Friday. Actually it was my father who was driving at Sears who had the brain fade and didn't put the hood pins in. ( I only ran the ITX race).... add to...
