I know for sure that the Type R used the '88 CRX rear lower control arms. That is why people want the '88 CRX, plus it is much lighter and has 5 hp more that '89-91.

Why not build one? L20B motor. '78-'81. Had a 5 speed in 1981, but with NAPA Z 2.0 engine. Had veeeery bad brakes. I had 2 street cars. 4 link rear and mac front.

The d16a6 Si engine from the 88-91 crx is the 2nd gen of the ZC motor.
The 1st was the '86-'87. Yes from what I have seen and read you can bolt the 1st gen ZC to a 1st gen Si block.

The way you should go would be to install the 1st gen '86-'87 Acura Integra motor and trans. Over in Japan this was the Si motor. 1.6 1st gen "ZC" motor. It is pretty much a bolt in, if you have a...
Yes that one.

Used the 1 1/8" BRE front and 3/4" BRE rear sway bars. The car...
Hi,
I do not have any wires to my ITC CRX (85) carb. I have 2 OPM race modified carbs. I paid $300 a piece, but would sell for $300 for the pair. I may be moving to a new class.

The CRX seats and Civic seats are not interchangable.
Take a punch and hammer. Using the punch hit the screw to turn it. Or take a hacksaw cut a slot and insert a screwdriver. They all worked for me many a time.

The CRX is great, but the 240SX is there, plus the ECU rule will help the 240SX.

ITC CRX
Richard,
I 1st gen is just a longer 1st gen CRX. Bigger brakes fron and rear. Same front torsion bars and rear beam type axle. Alot of the CRX ITC/ITA stuff will fit. It will be a tough car to win...
