First thanks to everyone that came out to the Barber race. The same people (the stewards) that operate the other races in SEDIV are the same stewards that operated the Barber race. The Ala. region...

It is a fairly large paddock but when you put 250 plus entrants in the paddock things can get tight. We expect a big turnout maybe even bigger than 2004. It is a terraced paddock. The facilities...
LET ME CLEAR A FEW THINGS UP ABOUT THE ALSCCA RACE:
1. The $100 cancellation fee is not part of the supps and does not apply. It was originally thrown around when pre-supps drafting we put up an...

Barber lists this on its web site but with it saying Hoover it sounds like that may be 20 minutes away. Not sure and I would mapquest it if I were you.

The Alabama Region is going back to Barber in 2007. The weekend we have been running at Roebling is now going to switch to Barber. We have secured that date and it will be a double SARRC. Looks like...
The Alabama Region just got confirmation that the July 7th-8th race weekend is a "go". Alabama is glad to be back racing at its home track and will run its Double SARRC race there in 2007.

It means if they want everyone to race on solid rubber lawn mower tires they can put it in the supps.

Buccanneer region has some pictures on their web site of the repave. Wooohoo.
December would make me nervous. Busy time of the year (holidays). Many people are starting to tear their cars down for the next season at that point. With track rental being what it is we need a date...
If SEDIV is going to take a poll in the future I was pleased that some agreed to format and procedure is going to be implemented in the future as was discussed at the mid-year meeting. That was one...
I can assure you that from the top (Mr. Barber) all the way down the ladder we (Ala. Region SCCA) have been welcomed back in a most cordial fashion. Things have changed. Everyone has moved forward....
And remember it is the REs who vote on this so if it matters to you then contact your RE and tell them which way you want them to vote and why.

I sent this out to everone on my region's announce list. A lot of it is taken from Road Atlanta's letter to the Atlanta Region SCCA. If anyone wants to cut and paste to some other forum or email list...
I saw this information on another forum. Is it Jim Pantas who posted? If so thanks Jim.
I talked to one of the board of directors with the Atlanta Region to confirm. Yes it is true. While some...
I know this is a little OT but I am trying to help someone out and maybe this forum might give me a lead. As an ex-supra owner I am aware of a "supra mini-meet" that is planned for a September Panoz...
One the proposal by Buccanneer region was not my proposal/idea (if you can read it says Fred Clark) nor did I have any input in it.
Two, I have already said in a previous post the proposal is not...
I go away for Thanksgiving and come back and find this ridiculous and insulting comment on here. Toni, you were not at Barber in 2004 nor have you ever been a party to any of my region's discussions...
Butch Kummer, thank you very much for your cogent and factual response. Mattberg, I will say this again and neither, Butch or John will disagree with this. There was never any mention or discussion ...
It is interesting that two people can attend the same meeting but come away with a different memory or impression but that happens. I want to clarify what the Alabama region "supported" at the last...
What John said. John I don't even think you can say the proposed idea was "tabled". There was never a motion made to even consider the idea. It was just discussed. For it to be "tabled" there would...
what John said.

Oink. I have said what I need to. It is factual. I agree. It is 9:30. What are doing up so late? LOL. :P
