Surprisingly enough, they'd be legal as long as you're wearing your fire proof socks
another suggestion, depending on how cheap you really are....
SCCA does not mandate SFI rated shoes, most of the super high end shoe makers manufacture the same shoe in an SFI rated and non SFI...
I'm a bit of a shoe whore and have tried a bunch
Alpine Stars (Tek 1) I love them but they are pricey
Pilotis (LMP)are comfortable but with a thick/wide sole
Lico these were Sparco's "off"...
see post #70
Everyone wants a chance to beat Greg's Big Hairy Dick.
I also moved mine from next to the rain tray outside the cockpit to inside to the left of the dash, much more convenient.
I agree, and as a super low budget racer I wish I didn't...I WISH $300 entry fees would make a real difference, I just don't see it being the reason people only run a couple events a year. Now $750...
I hear the Miata is killing that class set, maybe we need another one :p
Some eye opening numbers there for sure....I had assumed IT was as popular elsewhere in the country as it is here in the NE.
Is it really dying or were the numbers never there everywhere else?
I asked over on the "other" place but should plop it in here too, are Prod cars not eligible for this race?
hurray belt rule!
how do you get a helmet over that thing?
Thanks Yusuf!!
agreed, this program is a great step in the right direction for the club.
such a gorgeous piece of machinery!
the epitome of jumped starts!....I was going to post the same thing
Craig's in Chiner....Denise now hangs with the riff raff....Abhi doesn't like you ;)
all good now.
Great pics as always Yusuf! Thanks for sharing!
