Paul...who are the other ITA's?
I just checked....and both are right. 30% chance of isolated showers Saturday, windy, and better (but cooler) on Sunday. See you there!....gonna give that black Neon a hard chase!.....and I'll wave...
Sure...come on to Hallett. I'll see you there!
Mac...you're the one I'll REALLY miss. Today my cows reminded me of you...they ran faster than I did...and ran where they weren't supposed to. And ran into things! Hope to see you soon!
I'm probably nuts, but I'm going to try to make both weekends. I'll miss seeing Gary in STL...always good to race with. We can dice with each other in Hallett. 1/3 of my yearly races are in the next...
It was nice of you guys to invite the IT crowd.
You're right...we need to chip in for the DragoFest....and, if I remember corectly, it's just as far down here as it is up there. Tnord just doesn't want the competition.
Is there going to be a test day on Friday? I might come for that and get my annual inspection out of the way.
What are you driving this year Mac? I heard you had another car, but don't know what to look for! Since they didn't invite ITA, don't know if I want to come play or not.
Not all of us live in the middle of the MiDiv. For those of us in Arkansas, Memphis is great....and MAM is too long a pull. A friend of mine in AS says it costs him $1000 in diesel alone to attend...
Thanks Phil. Let us know the outcome. We appreciate your good work.
Boy, that didn't work well. Not sure how to post an Excel spreadsheet here. Anyway, the July race you show for MEM isn't on this one. July races are Hallett on the 4th, then MPH in Nebraska 18/19th.
Here is what I saw:
2009 Midwest Division Schedule - Tentative Draft 11-17-08JAN3/410/1117/1824/2531/1F7/814/1521/2228/1ENational Convention100 Acre Wood-StLB2/19-21/09(Fri/Sat, 2/27-28)Las...
I'll see if I can attach the tentative schedule I saw.
What happened to Memphis on the '09 schedule. Only one race, and it doesn't have IT?
I had to withdraw due to an accident. Was hoping to chase That fast Old Fart from Ft. Worth in the yellow Miata in ITA. Had an airplane crash instead, but just broke my arm and chewed up my knees....
Mac did a great job.....I saw that wall jump in front of you! As I went by, I told it "Bad Wall, Bad Wall...don't do that again" !!!! I learned I had the wrong tires on Saturday....and not enough...
I've been looking for the supps and the final schedule for the races next weekend. Can Bill or someone send them, post them, or mention where to find them? I looked at dlbracing, but haven't found...
Just saw the thread, but I vote for qual 1/ Race 1 Sat, Q2/R2 Sunday. I'm going home Sunday evening.
I'll be at Hallett too....chasing that Fast Old Fart from Ft. Worth (in another Miata). He'll be the one in the lead (until he takes his Agricultural Expedition to the tire walls....and I'll be right...
If I'm the farmer....why are you taking "Agricultural Expeditions"? I do my plowing with a tractor....John Deere, of course! I will have to admit there are marks on the same tire wall with my name on...
Do you have a 1.8 or 1.6? I run a 1.6 in ITA in the mid south, but it is strictly a Spec Miata, and not to ITA specs. Mac Spikes runs a good, real ITA Miata here and does quite well (when he stays on...
The "Nut" behind the wheel is the biggest problem right now with my car.....I'm working on that problem over the winter so I can chase that Fast Ole Fart from Ft. Worth next spring!
Memphis is wide open on the North end with plenty of run-off room, but has concrete on the South end (Grant's Tomb). It's the only track where I get into 5th on the straight, so I'm probably doing...
