It's a step in the right direction. We had 3 cancelled events due to low entries in MiDiv this year. We want to race. So what if we'll be the last run group of the day.

Might want to keep that car an 8V though since the 16V will be moved to ITB starting 1/1/2015. With the 16V, the weight will be 2560! Not sure how you are going to get...
The IT group gets to run at the Kansas Speedway Majors in 2015.
Our last Majors at Topeka had SRF and SM together, but there were only 2 SM cars and only one was running competitive lap times. I don't recall if they had a split start or not, but they probably...
When was that? They have not run together the last 3 years.
Getting closer to 2015. Any progress you could talk about? Any idea when an announcement will be made?

Wouldn't that air intake be considered ram air and therefore not be allowed? "Velocity stacks, ram air or cowl induction are not permitted unless fitted as original equipment."
Thanks Chris.
Any links that show wiring diagram and parts needed?
And do you think I should install the throttle switches?
Originally it was a CIS-E car but the motor that was sent to me was set up without throttle switches or oxygen sensor. Everything else was attached including fuel distributer and all accessories. One...
I installed an Innovate air fuel gauge to monitor my fuel ratio and I had it set to 13.5 at idle and was expecting it to be that way at WOT but I get readings in the high 17 range. I bought the motor...
Was going to call one of them earlier then that so that I have time to fix anything they find wrong. Classroom session Friday night and then bright and early on Sat, so wouldn't have time to fix...
That's pretty much what I had before on the bottom rod of the net. I used an old seat belt for the bottom and a spring loaded rod for the top. I guess as long as it releases from the top too, they...
Where did you find that strap with the metal buckle?
I am getting my car ready for the season and I'm having a difficult time finding a good solution to mount the bottom of the window net. The last time I raced this car was back in 2002 and I used a...
Was watching one of the Bildon videos and saw him use a digital A/F ratio gauge in his Corrado. Now I'm wondering what everybody else uses. Do you just tune on a dyno and forget it or do you use an...
I know that, and most VW guys know that but what I'm concerned about is if a non VW competitor looks at the engine code stamped on the block and it isn't a 10:1 motor would they have ammo for a...
Last night I did some reading in the ITCS and in 9.1.3 para C it states:
Any updated/backdated components shall be substituted as a complete
assembly (engine long block,...
No way. I have had vented rotors in there since '88. They are a direct fit.
My Golf GT came with non vented front brakes and rear drums but with the 10:1 RD engine and 9A tranny. According to the car classification, GTI, GT and GL are all on the same line allowing 10:1...
That's what I was thinking. Just getting it bored over and getting a piston kit. Do you know of a machine shop in Lincoln or Omaha that has a torque plate for our motors?
Yeah, I just saw the schedule and would like to do the drivers school at MAM. I can always hope that the races I did in 2002 would be sufficient to be able to do just one drivers school. Don't really...
Is there a difference in blocks when it comes to 8V motors. I know Audi 3A and ABA bubble blocks are different, but what about one out of a VW Fox?
The reason I ask is that the motor I had in my...
Not a whole lot of info on their web site. Do they offer turn key motors with core exchanges? Costs?
Thanks
