Probably would have had to pick too much glass out of it.
Here are the results. And, yes, it was hot.
The official results only list the driver who is the entrant. So the only winning team where I can list all drivers is mine :birra:

I use the 'vert BBS wheels for my rains, which are 205's. The reason I don't use them for the dry tires is that they ar 6.5" wide. I use Hoosier 225/45/15 and I think I need the 7 inch width.

I could be wrong since I don't have a GCR in front of me, but I think the annual car tech inspection has to be done each "season". So, if you had an annual tech on your car any time in 2006, you...

In 2005, ITS ran with SSM in MARRS and I thought that actually worked well. As one of the faster ITS cars, I had very few issues lapping SSM cars. In general, they watched their mirrors, and we...
I guess no grouping is ever perfect for everyone. This grouping is a lot better than the ITS / Big Bore group last year. That was scary at times. And yes, the ITS competitors routinely lost at...
Congratulations Tom & Bill! It's great to see hard work pay off for good guys.

I'd agree that Bret DePedro at RP Performance is your best bet. He has a couple Miatas and an SRX7 that he rents. They are good cars; well prepared.
Did anyone mention that it was hot? It was really hot! I'm still drinking to try to replenish the lost fluids.

I agree, Marshall. That race (and the qualifying) was ugly. Wrecks, near wrecks, blown motors, parts (and even an orange cone?) laying on the track, etc... And remember, I started in SRX7, so...
Dan, since I think it was yours, I hope it was your SIR :D
In ITS:
Lytle -- BMW
Hoffman -- Acura
Lapos -- RX7
Jones -- BMW
not sure after that...
Regarding the Big Bore / ITS race...
That situation in turn 8 was perhaps the most dangerous one I've seen as a driver. One car was upside down (I think it was a T2 car, not a GT1) and the yellow...
Tom,
I'm not sure of the exact difference between the intermediate and the deluxe, but I have an intermediate Kirkey road race seat and I'm very happy with it. One good thing about the aluminum...
Hey dangerous Dave, Nice Picture.

Marshall,
I saw your original post and assumed it was tongue-in-cheek. Then I checked back today and saw that you sure got some excitement going!!

Did you check for a vacuum leak?
What about the 318ti for ITA?
The weather was brutal. I don't have a cool suit, but I will be looking for one for next season. I'll be talking to you, Bret.
