Advice from Ben Phillips on taking it easy on a start? Now I've seen everything ... :D
A few shots to wet your whistle. Nick and I had a pow-wow today to discuss the last little bits that need to be ordered, etc.:happy204:
Speaking of which ... I registered for ITS as a place-holder, but if all goes well, we'll unveil my S2000 at this race. Fingers crossed.

Thanks Matt, saw your car yesterday. Randy builds a sweet cage, doesn't he? Hope I can pedal that car well enough to run with the BMWs and Ben ... :eclipsee_steering:

Bummed I can't make it. Was never planning to - we're aiming for the May 2 NHMS Regional as the S2000's debut - but with the weekend approaching, I wish I could be there to mix it up.

LOL - good point!
I just signed up. Here's something terrifying, though: next year, I'll be mentoring my son at autocrosses. How the hell did that happen?

Does anybody remember the super-rainy NARRCoffs weekend ('02? '03?) when Kip VanSteenburg, lacking a good set of rains, bought himself a set of snow tires on Thursday night? He tried them during a...

Cage finished, subframes out, doing the final strip so we can bolt it to the rotisserie and paint the naughty bits.
Note the asymmetry: driver's side has 2 tubes tying into the firewall, while...

Steve
Thanks Rob, we're going to ask him what's up.
A few more pics. Those low stringers near the door sills should prevent anybody's nose from submarining under the NASCAR bars.

We're using Sparco sliders, is that what you used? Thanks for the heads-up, as we haven't fully committed yet (the sliders are just tacked). Also, who gunned you down, was it Scott?
